So all of my family and my SO’s family live out of state. Some are talking about coming in to help after the birth. They are willing to quarantine for two weeks in an air bnb or hotel before coming to help with the baby. Would likely stay 1-2 wks after at a hotel or air bnb to come help daily. I’m a pretty modest/private person so am limited in who I’d want to be with during such an intense and intimate time when we are getting used to life with newborn, breastfeeding & body is healing.

Will prob have a closer family member come two weeks after birth, once husband goes back to work.

My question is how long would you wait to invite someone to help that is not as close to you and you’d rather feel a little more settled and healed. Maybe 2 mths? 3mths?
