A little over a week ago, my 21 month old son woke up in the middle of the night with a fever and he threw up a few times. He also had diarrhea for the next 2-3 days. My husband and my daughter went at the end of the week on a Friday to get Covid tests done. They had thought we would get the results by Monday however tomorrow is Thursday and it’s my 39 week appointment. My doctor was supposed to schedule me for an induction on Friday. I didn’t do a covid test Bc I figured I would be doing one when I went into labor or was induced. The induction is elective (personal reasons). Now i am super worried...should I call in to talk with the doctors office tomorrow to see if they even want me to come in? I am really stressed now Bc I am 39 weeks and showing a lot of progress with effacement and dilation. This is not my first baby either. I am scared they won’t allow me to come in to deliver the baby. Do you think I should wait to get results back? Who even knows when we will get their results? The other option is have me go in alone for the induction and test and then call my husband to come in so our childcare can take care of our kids at home? I am really beyond stressed out at this point.
