Changing car seat..

Hi I'm looking for advice.. my little girl is 8months now and i currently have the vinecci shadow 3in1 system, were still using the car seat from this( in the car) and its not going to be much longer before shes due a new one. But I'm a little confused on mixed reviews off Google and people etc. So what car seat is everyone using for this age group thats going to grow with them? Should my little girl still he rear facing? If so fir how long? Thank you
