Prodromal labor?

I am 38 weeks today and I was up last night from 130-330 AM with mild contractions. Eventually, they stopped and I fell asleep. I went to see my OB today and he said I havent progressed any since last week other than baby has dropped a bit more.
Ugh I really thought this was it! Anyone else have something similar? How long did it last until actual labor?

I’ve been dealing with this for weeks. 38+3 today and 3cm dilated. So sorry momma, the false alarms are the worst!

I started having prodromal contractions at 32 weeks. 39+5 now 😅

I’m 37+5 had consistent contractions 6 min apart for 24 hours straight on Tuesday but wasn’t dilated at all. Now they’re 10 min apart. I’m hoping he comes soon because it’s so exhausting having contractions like this! I feel your pain!

I’ve been having contractions every night for the past 4 days! Hoping it means labors soon but I know it could still be a couple weeks away

Mine lasted 4 days before my water broke, however some women can go weeks before going into labor. It really sucks. A bath with Epsom salts can help get them to stop if they are not the real thing.

Ive been having the  same thing on and  off for anout 2-3 days on tuesday i was finally at a 1. I go back tomorrow  hopefully i progressed! I feel exactly in the same boat as you!
