Weeks pregnant?

So based off the first day of my last period (July 15th)  I should only be 4 weeks 1 day but I know the exact day I conceived (I only had sex one time with baby’s dad) which was July 26th and based off that I should be 4 weeks 4 days today. Which should I go off of?

Go from LMP. You could conceive days after you have sex. The sperm can live for 5 days inside your uterus waiting for ovulation day 🤩

Go from your last missed period. Conception doesn’t happen at the time you had sex, since sperm can live in your body up to 5 days or so. So you could have had sex on the 26th but didn’t ovulate until 3 days later, so conception would actually happen 3 days after you had sex. 
I’m not a doctor, so definitely take this with that in mind, but that’s how I understand these things work. 🤗

Your doctor will go off of your period. Same as mine. Due date 4/21. They dont count ovulation or anything

I’d go off of your last period until later on when you have a growth scan for more accuracy.

Doctor will go based off LMP so that’s what I do. (Unless they do a dating ultrasound.) I know when I ovulated but they never ask that for due date determination at my OB office.

Your last period. They will get a more accurate measurement at your ultrasound but its highly unlikely they will change it from your last period with it being so close. And it's not like babies really care what your due date is anyway. Haven't made it to 40 weeks with either of my first 2.. they come when they're ready!
