4D ultrasound?

Has anyone gone to get a private 4D ultrasound? And was it worth the money?
I am 26 weeks and my husband hasn’t been able to come to any appts or ultrasounds due to covid, and he would love to be able see one, so we are debating booking a private scan.

We went for a 4D scan on Tuesday but unfortunately baby was being camera shy. 30 minutes of walking around the car park, doing some star jumps and having a cold sweet drink didn’t help. We’ve been invited back next week to try again. If they still can’t get a decent image, we’d need to pay for another attempt. So we may end up having a photo of what resembles a lasagne 😂 It’s worth checking the rescan policy with the company you go for to make sure you have the option of a second try if baby hides.

We were in the same situation and did this. It was totally worth it, we both loved it and it was really cool to see her face and what she's doing when she's moving around 🥰

I did one at 24 weeks because my husband wanted to see the baby and totally worth it. i’ll probably be back between week 28 -31

I love them! They suggest between 28-30 weeks! It’s great especially because hubs can go too!
