I was exclusively breastfeeding and got pregnant when my baby was 8 months. Never got a cycle.

We started trying 18 months PP, got pregnant in about two months.

13 months PP. I hadn’t even had a period yet. Got pregnant the month I went off the mini pill.

I was 10 months pp with my first and on the mini pill. Guess i wasn’t breastfeeding enough for it to be fully effective and I got pregnant. We were going to start trying in the next couple months anyways so it wasn’t a big deal to us.

Breastfeeding isn’t birth control. You will always ovulate before you get your first period, so there’s definitely a chance you can get pregnant while breastfeeding.
