Meaning, you and your fiancé decided not to have sex again until the wedding night to make the night more special.

I was just curious because this subject got brought up in one of my mom groups and I’d never thought of seeing how normal it was to do. My husband and I were only engaged for just over a month because he was joining the Air Force just after we got married. We wanted to make it official quick n easy. Had a small wedding. 
We were the only sexual partners either of us ever had, but we didn’t wait until marriage to lose our virginities.. instead, I had suggested we hold off on sex after we got engaged so that the wedding night could be more special. It was! I’m glad we did.

We were both virgins before we got married. Yup. I know, it's pretty odd... But we both had strong convictions about it. And it wasn't just for the wedding night, but just for marriage itself. The wedding night was... Awkward 😳 lol but we've been married almost 4 years now and I'm still glad we waited to have sex until marriage.

My husband and I waited until marriage for sex. It was pretty amazing to meet someone who matches me so perfectly and has so many of the same opinions. I was surprised he had felt the same way about waiting well before meeting me. We got married about 10 months after meeting on a blind date but it felt like a perfect match and we have been married for over 6 years and still happily in love.

Me and my husband both weren't virgins before marrying each other but we both wanted to live our lives in devotion to Jesus so we waited the whole time we were dating until we were married. It was very hard but definitely worth it. Made our wedding night so sweet. First times can be very awkward but loving each other and learning each other I think is what makes it so sweet. 😊 Just my twosense!

My fiancé and I are getting married at the end of October. I asked him if he would want to do something like this, and he said sure. So we decided that starting Oct 1st, we will try to not masturbate or have sex until we’re married. 🙂

We tried to but it didn’t work out lol we were engaged for 11 months. Then I tried to hold off just the week before our wedding but.. that didn’t go as planned either 😅 our wedding night was still special though. We’ve also only been with each other.
