Heartburn medication

Question

Hi all,
7 weeks into my 1st pregnancy and I have developed really bad heartburn (plus I have history of peptic ulcer). Antacids are not working and dr prescribed omeprazole and Pepcid. I’m so afraid to use any cos of all the conflicting information out there. Did anyone use either during their pregnancy?

I used omeprazole most of my pregnancy. Worked great, no issues.

I been using Pepcid for over 2 years and when I found out I was pregnant I asked the nurse if it was okay and she said it was fine. But the only bummer is the last like 3 days, it hasn’t been helping me. I am 7 weeks today. I’m supposed to be 9 weeks but Dr pushed me back 2 weeks.
