Newborn eating food?

This is just a crazy question that popped into my head, but theoretically, could a newborn or 1 month old have the teeniest bit of a puree, just to try? Like a tiny drop on your finger, maybe once a day at most. Assuming allergies do not run in the family and this is just one type of pure fruit or veggies, for instance a strictly blueberry-only puree with nothing else in it besides maybe water, made at home, very finely blended. I know that trying new flavors can be a very good sensory experience to stimulate a baby's brain, so I thought, assuming it's safe, why not start early?

Thoughts? All hypothetical, don't attack me lol.
