How quickly has your endo returned?

Hi Gals! 
I had laparoscopic surgery 12 months ago to remove endo. For the last 6 months I’ve had the same symptoms and I feel like it might be back again. Is this even possible? Has anyone else experienced it coming back so soon?

I am 8 months post surgery with no symptoms yet. I have heard that it may never come back or it can come back a few months after surgery even with excision. Western medicine recommends birth control but i refuse now and forever. Birth control messed me up in many ways and now I am seeing a naturopath I am understanding there is even a program to detox from bcontrol due to the way they mes with your body. Have you tried pelvic floor physical therapy? That can help with symptoms. It was a life saver for me.

I had about 6 months of true relief, then it gradually came back after that

I just had mine back in June. I asked the doctor how soon he’s seen it come back, he said in something cases it grows right back, but hopefully that’s not the case. He also said that taking birth control can help it from growing back as fast. Are you on birth control by any chance? 
I wish you the best. I hate that other people have to experience the demon that is endometriosis.

Did they do excision or ablation surgery?

I dont know the answer to your question but I have been doing a lot of studying about excess iron thay gets storage in our tissues causing inflammation in the body and women with endo have excess iron stored in their pelvic cavity. And the one major way to get iron out of storage and into circulation is blood donations.
