Why did my cycle change?

Question

It used to come very late in the month but subtly has started to become earlier. I just got it today, the 16th, but it has been coming in the mid to late 20s for a while now. 
Background info: i’m 16 (17 in 2 months) and not sexually active. The only thing that has majorly changed in my life is moving to a new place and not getting chemical straighteners anymore... idk if that would have any effect.

Cycles change. They do not come on the same day every month or even monthly. Instead your cycle is a number of days. You can see your average cycle length on the app or count yourself. Day one of your period is day one in your cycle. The day before your next period is the last day in your cycle. If your period starts on August 1 and is 30 days long, your next period would be approximately August 31. The next period would be September 29th and so on. The length of your cycle can vary, so can the color of blood, consistency, flow, etc. All of this is completely normal.
