Bed rest

Paula

I had to go see my dr when I was 22 weeks because of severe cramping and bleeding. I was checked out and my dr the explained to me that my placenta was starting to detach. I was placed on bed rest then. I went back a week later and my blood pressure was 150/101. I was told that if we couldn’t get it under control that I would be placed in the hospital. He was worried because I have three other children at home 7,4,&3. I told him that I have an amazing husband and family who have been helping out. I own a daycare and my sister is my assistant and instead of having to close she took over running it until I have the baby. I do not like being on bed rest I fee like I miss out on a lot of things with my other children. But it will be worth it in the end. My due date is November 9th, but dr said he will be delivering the baby in October after 35 weeks, because my blood pressure will not stay where he wants it to be. I have been going to the dr once a week to check on the baby to make sure she is doing good. My husband is amazing, he has not once complained that all the household chores fall on him, he works full time at a jail comes home, cooks dinner, cleans up dinner dishes, then he plays with our children, bathes them, puts them to bed, does all the laundry, rubs my back, my feet, and not once has he complained about it. While he is working my sister or my mom come over to help with the kids. I have been blessed with such a loving and caring family.
