What to give baby instead of cow’s milk?

I think my 1 year old may have a food allergy...he’s been having bouts of diarrhea ever since he turned 1, which is when I started giving him milk. I want to do a food trial and stop milk to see if it helps. What do I give in place of that? Almond milk? (I will be emailing his doc too)

I would talk to your pediatrician first but honestly oat milk would be better than almond milk.

You don't have to give him milk at all. My baby would always get a rash on her face because of milk and diarrhea. After a year they don’t need milk, so you can just give water. They can get their nutrition from other sources.

Almond milk or oat milk would be fine, but DO NOT give babe soy milk, it’s horrible for you and has absolutely 0 health benefits.

Talk to pediatrician. He may be lactose intolerant. My baby is, his pediatrician said soy, almond, any lactose free milk will be fine. I give him almond milk, he loves it and no more diarrhea or throwing up. ￼

We use goat milk or almond milk. I prefer goat because it has the full fats and no added sugars but almond milk with no added sugar is fine.

My son looooves almond milk. Introduced at 11 months. 
But he’s also been introduced to nuts such as peanut butter when he was even younger. I know people are afraid off allergies, but the younger you introduce a baby to those foods, the less likely they are to develop an actual allergy. 
Reading the comments, I may try oat milk too and see if he likes that. Watch your baby, all of them like different things and don’t forget foods too that have vitamin d!
