Pedicure during covid?
I live in a suburb of a major city, and my state has started to loosen restrictions for business to open in the past month or two.
Normally I would get my toes done every two months from the same woman who has been doing my nails and eyebrows for 15 years.
I finally just became comfortable enough to go in to get my eye brows waxed - they were a hot mess! I was in and out in less than 2 minutes. There was only one other customer inside, and plexiglass had been installed around the pedicure stations.
Now that I think I would be comfortable in the salon, I can’t help but feel icky going to a salon and have someone clean my toes during a pandemic. I have always felt it was kind of weird, paying someone to clean and put nail polish on my toe nails, so I always tip very well. Considering the once bustling salon is now empty, I feel bad that they are not making money, but also feel bad having someone provide this service. What do you all think?
I would also love to hear from any nail technicians!
