Boyfriend

We were together for 6 months and then he said he was basically scared of a relationship and we ended it but for these past couple of months we seem to be going on and off. One month we talk the next month we don’t. He doesn’t seem to know what he wants. He told my friends boyfriend he didn’t wanna cuff me but then the entire night we all went out and had some drinks all he did was tell me he missed me and he constantly complimented me. Like how can you say one thing and act the complete opposite. I want to sit down and talk to him but I don’t know what to do. I’m crazy about him but I’m not gonna sit here and wait.
