I do the following since I hate being put on antibiotics and I used to get them all the time:
1. Start wearing panty liners 
2. Stay super hydrated 
3. Stop all sugar in my diet (even fruit)
4. Don’t strain my bladder
5. Stop having sex until it’s completely gone
6. Take an organic cranberry pill with food 
I do these things to avoid introducing more bacteria in the area and prevent the infection from having easy food sources (sugar, along with constantly flushing your system with water).
