Cramps before your period?

Hey y’all! I’m having some cramps and i haven’t even started my period yet. I’m supposed to start in a few days though. I’ve never had cramps before my actual period starts. Is this normal? Has this happed to anyone else?

Yes. I normally get them a few days before my period.

Most definitely. I get cramps in the lower abdomen area , especially around my pelvis. Then , the lower back aches sometimes. Used to have my joints ache too, but got more magnesium in the diet and that subsided quite a bit.
