TTC with donor

Not having a huge amount of money but dying to have kids, I decided to look into donor options about a year ago. I’ll be 37 this year (yikes 😬), but I’m in good health and as far as I know everything works 😉

My partner is in two minds as to whether he can support me on this path (he’s older and had a vasectomy 20 years ago), but I’m determined. I’ll be a lone mama if needs be, but I’d take his support too x

I’ve met my donor once, he lives a few hours away. I opted for natural insemination as it genuinely seems to have the best success rate.

The only thing I wish I could change would be to have sex whenever I wanted...with my donor being so far away and work commitments...I can see this taking a while 😕

No sperm banks in Ireland, only extremely expensive clinics. I feel this is my only option.

Anyone in a similar situation?
