What age can a baby safety sleep in a bed

We have been bed sharing since 3.5 months. Just follow the safe sleep 7! :) I'd recommend a floor bed, too.

Even when suffocation isn't a risk,  there can be a risk of falling (crawling/ rolling off).. so I'd advise having the mattress on the floor if you must do this.

I co-slept with my first until 15 months old, I felt very comfortable with her sleeping with me when she started walking (9 months old). But before that I was still super nervous and extra safe. My second has never co-slept with me and a little tiny part of me is sad about it but mostly I can sleep soundly knowing she’s in a safe sleeping environment.

Been doing it since she was 3 weeks old 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, some of these things are cultural! (Same with eating solids young, going out in the cold with them, and blankies in bed 🙄) When my daughter was in hospital in Germany from 3-6 weeks old some of the nurses actually encouraged co-sleeping. Being from North America I was mortified at the thought but I tried it one night when we were both so exhausted and we both loved it. She sleeps in her crib until her bottle at 5am, then with us until 7:30.

When they can not get squashed by you or smothered in blankets or pillows. That being said my daughter has had some nights in which she ends up in our room. I leave her in her sleep sac and put her on top of the blankets do they cant cover her face and then i push my pillows away from her. I dont sleep super soundly so if she moves im awake. I dont like it but sometimes we all need sleep.
