Should a child be using feminine wash ??

I nanny a little girl (age 8) and her two other brothers. I’ve already run into a lot of questions coming from the girl about sexuality, puberty etc it’s been super tricky for me to navigate being that she’s pretty young and their family is pretty Christian and I am not. I always try to feel out what she already knows and asks questions to find out what her parents tell her. She’s expressed to me that she wishes she could have crushes on girls but that it’s gross, I usually give the response “you’re young and don’t need to worry about crushes until your old enough to date” but also also let her know that I don’t think it’s wrong for her to like or think both boys are girls are cute. Shes told me her mom told her that boys want to hug girls to feel their boobs... lol and she’s told me she knows how boys and girls have sex 
ANYWAYS she always has me unlock her parents bathroom to shower (which I have no idea why her dad locks & it’s not always locked buttt) she says she can’t take a shower in the other bathroom cuz there’s only the boys shampoo, so I unlock it with the little key. Well
Today I couldn’t find the key and I was like “you might just have to use the other shower or wait until your parents are home and she starts dreaming out that she needs to use pp wash and I was like “you just mean body wash” and shes screaming “NOOooo I need to use the pp
Wash to clean in here” and she’s pointing and I’m like “There is not reason you need to put anything in there ever” and she’s screaming at me that I’m wrong. I tried to explain to her why she doesn’t need to do that and how she’s supposed to only clean the outside because she can get infections and that her vagina will clean itself and she can just use water. I finally found the key and got her to calm down and
Saw that it’s summers eve In the shower! She insisted that her dad specifically says she needs to use it and I thought maybe she was lying because she just wanted to use it cuz she knows her mom does but she said I could ask him! why the fuck is a child being told to use
Summers eve?! Is it just me or is that wrong ??

I don’t think anyone needs to use summers eve and it’s creepy that the dad makes her use it. This doesn’t sound like a normal family dynamic to me and I would personally put in a call to CPS.

None of this sounds normal to me. It sounds icky and, at best, like mom and dad are uneducated morons and at worst like dad is grooming her.
If she "needs" that wash why is he locking the bathroom door??

Maybe the dad is just ignorant on how vaginas work but maybe it’s something else especially if you’ve already been suspicious about something being “off”

Very strange. 
Although keep in mind the child could just be saying her dad makes her use it so you unlock the door and give her what she wants. Kids learn how to manipulate. 
I'd go to the parents about all of this. Not just the shower gel, but all the sex talk. Maybe she's trying to get a rise out of you, kids do this all the time. Or maybe she's just curious and knows she can get more answers from you. Either way, id follow up with the parents!

So here’s my question; if dad is saying she needs to use it then why is their bathroom door locked? And why wouldn’t they just put a bottle for her in the other bathroom? 🤔🤔🤔 it’s pretty weird, but I’d talk to the parents and just say so and so threw a fit today because she couldn’t shower in your bathroom. She said you told her she needed to us private wash.

Maybe the dad thinks she needs to use it, or maybe she saw an ad on tele about it and thinks she needs to use her mums? Maybe it is her mums and her mum told her that she uses it to wash around her vulva etc so she thinks she needs to? Please don’t call CPS for this 🤦🏼‍♀️

Dads should have no dictation or say in how the CHILD is taking care of herself hygiene wise. I’m Christian myself, but that just sounds like some weird controlling Christian cult that family is in. I’d call CPS just based on the fact she freaked out when she couldn’t use it ... that’s beyond sketchy. Almost like someone wants her too or is forcing her to use it.

Red flag 🙅🏼‍♀️ I don't know if it's just misogyny or grooming but something is REALLY off. Dad should not be telling her that she needs to clean inside there with special soap. Yikes.
