I’m currently doing the 1hr glucose test, the drink wasn’t as bad as people made it be!

Anyway, during ultrasounds my doctor comments on how my baby looks fat. He asked if my husband is big (he’s not) and if my brothers are big (they’re not). I’m thinking I do have GD, I’m already preparing for the bad news 😭

If you tested positive for GD, did/does your baby look fat on ultrasounds?

My father in law is 6 feet tall, he’s a big guy and he has diabetes. The tall gene didn’t pass on to my husband, he’s an average 5’8”. Could it be that my baby has my father in laws tall genes?

Idk if the term big = fat and tall, or just “fat”
