Hi everyone. I’m going to be a first time mom and get 4 months maternity leave once babe is born. My husband is anti daycare because of the pandemic, which I totally understand, but he wants me to watch the baby while I’m working from home. I have an office job where I clock in and out and process items out of queues. I’ve watched some YouTube videos to get a sense of a typical schedule for a 4 month old. My question is: has anyone tried working from home and watching their child at the same time? Is this even possible? Like do 4 month olds and older play by themselves while they’re awake or is that cruel? My husband and in laws seem to think they sleep all day and I know that’s not the case after the newborn stage.
