Help! When do I start birth control?

Hi everyone! I ordered birth control pills online at Simple Health (Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo) and they come in August 19 so I will start taking them August 19. I’m getting married on August 22 (and ideally have sex that night) and my period is supposed to start on August 27.

Will I be protected in time for my wedding? Are the chances of pregnancy low after the 22nd because my period will be starting? Or should I wait to start birth control when my period starts? It’s my first time taking birth control pills.
