Well I am almost 27 weeks pregnant with this little baby girl. I have my 28 week appt on sept 2. I have to do glucose testing, blood work, TDAP shot and follow up US due to slight worry over blood flow in umbilical cord.

My hubby is chief neurosurgery resident at his hospital which means I barely ever see him. My family lives 5 hours away and I have no one to watch my one and two year old kids.

My OB clinic is sticking to their rule that kids aren’t allowed to come to appointments. When I said I would keep them in the stroller and away from people the whole time, the reply I got is that they aren’t worried that the kids will spread it. They are worried that the kids will get coronavirus. That was the most infuriating thing I could have heard. If I as their mother am not concerned then the clinic shouldn’t be. It’s not up to them to worry for me.

So tomorrow I am hoping to completely switch OB’s, clinics and delivery hospital all right before third trimester starts.

...all because they won’t let me bring my kids to my appointments. Such absolute BS.
