Gestational diabetes testing...

Ughhhh so I failed my diabetes testing and have to do the 3 hours testing now! That is so annoying! How the hell do they expect your sugar to be normal after you drank a whole bottle of sugar! I’m with Kaiser and the cut off line is 139 and my value was 152! I’m super way off and dreading the 3 hours test! A part of me is scared that I do have gestational diabetes but at the same time I wonder if I didnt drink enough water that morning? Or is it because I occasionally have sweets!? What are your experiences? Did anyone pass the 1 hour test?
