Stress and TTC?

Question

How do you ladies deal with the stress of TTC? I think that's one of the biggest reasons I can't get pregnant. I'm so focused and stressed over it..how do I relax?

I am only in my third cycle of trying and I am just trying to think positive thoughts. I love looking at others bfp's and dream about seeing mine. I started a journal to write out all my thoughts. I also workout a few times a week to get my mind focused on other things.

I'm thinking of picking up a hobby. I used to knit so maybe I can do it again.

When I start stressing I remind myself of all the facts of trying to conceive.....

-Each month you have about a 25% chance of conceiving. 
-after a year of trying 85% of couples TTC become pregnant. 
-if it's not this month, it will happen.  Everyone has their own timing! 
-if I stress I only make things worse.

the more I focus on temping, ovulating, preseed, CM, etc the more I obsess about it! so this month I'm trying to relax and not get wrapped up in everything. We're gonna have sex every other day and see what happens.

I stopped temping because it stressed me out so much. We have a 15 month old who sleeps in our bed still so temping was hit or miss for me. I just do the Clearblue advanced smiley face opks. I am starting on Metformin this week because I was diagnosed with PCOS. Oddly enough, I feel like that diagnosis took away some of my stress because I know there's a reason we are having a hard time pinpointing ovulation/timing
