A poem (kinda)

Ashley

I wrote this poem. I know it doesn’t rhyme and isn’t very good but I thought some people might relate to it. Please no negative comments. Here it is;

Baby Fever

Blazing as it overtakes you,

Making you sizzle with a,

heartfelt wish so strong it,

makes you lament with a,

zeal so intense it’s beyond,

anything you’ve ever felt.

The fever has you inquiring,

into everything and anything,

related to babies.

It has you gazing at,

Babies with awe and longing.

It causes you to crave,

that feeling of a baby in your arms.

It makes you coo and awe,

at any and every baby you hold.

This unrest generates,

a feeling of loss in your heart,

like there’s a piece of you missing.

Like you’re incomplete.

The fever isn’t physical,

But it’s felt.
