Bilateral Endometriomas, Trying to get Pregnant
Hey! I am an otherwise healthy 27 yo who was incidentally found to have bilateral endometriomas, one side at 3 cm, the other at 4 cm. My husband and I have been trying for 8 months now with no luck. His sperm count isn’t amazing (11 million). He has been working on lifestyle changes to increase his count. My first OB said surgery was the only option, went to reproductive endo who said IVF was the only option. Went to a second OB today who is going to get an HSG. She also discussed me doing a 3 month course of birth control to maybe bring the size down, but that feels like moving in the wrong direction? I also don’t want to get on birth control if the HSG boosts the fertility like others have said? She also mentioned surgery, but I’m worried about it lowering my ovarian reserve. I have had the OAR testing done and was in the “good” range. My AMH is 2. I just don’t know what to do and feel defeated already! Help!
