Has anyone here experienced spotting relating to ovulation?

This is my first cycle since having a MC and I’m on CD 24. I usually would ovulate around CD 19-23 before my MC, and got a gut instinct that I was ovulating on CD 22. When I wiped there was a little bit of spotting (light reddish brown with egg white discharged). I thought maybe I was starting my period, but it never came and still hasn’t. I asked my friend and she spots during ovulation.

Does this happen often? Could that be what it is? I never have had it in the past. Unfortunately I didn’t take any OPKs due to stress.
