Cloth diapering?

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about cloth diapering but I am a first time mom and have no clue about this! I would greatly appreciate any info anyone has! What type of diapers they prefer, how many you need to get started, if you used something different for newborns vs the one size fits all etc. pros/cons thank you all! :)

I have used all types and I really like the bumgenius all in one. I also like pockets with bamboo inserts. My kids are pretty big from the start, so I got away with not using new born sizes, I just clipped down to the lowest button sizes.

You really only need about 24 to start off with. Some of us are crazy and have a large stash, but you don't need that many (or do you? Lol)

I used Tide original detergent. I did a cold rinse without soap, a warm rinse with soap and one more rinse without soap. I let mine dry in the sun because it sanitizes and will completely remove any stains. If they're still damp I let them tumble in the dryer.

I invested in a diaper sprayer (it connects to the water on your toilet and comes with a clip to hang on to the side). And I use a spray pal, it's a plastic cover that prevents splashes while you spray off into the toilet. Then I toss them in a giant wet bag for the laundry.

I also keep a smaller wet bag for the diaper bag.

I too am a first time my that plans to cloth diaper my son but idk how many to start off with. I watched this video of this mom cloth diapering her son and in one day she use 17 cloth diapers. I don't have a washing machine at home like her so I plan to go the laundromat down the block from my residence.
