“Don’t give up”
“Just relaaax”
“Keep praying”
“Don’t stress/worry about it”
“Be patient”
“Believe it’s going to happen and it will”
I’ve heard them all and it makes me feel so empty.
And I’m so tired of hearing/reading people who also took years to conceive relay this shitty advice as well, as if as soon as they get their BFP they totally forget what it was like.
I guess one could only be so lucky to forget this feeling, I wish I could.
Sometimes I just want to sit in my emotions and process them. I need to come around to the idea that the life I imagined might not be a possibility. I don’t need to be told not to give up, I need to be told to “get real” and maybe be held for a bit while I come around to that.
