I wouldn’t call my daughter Stacey never mind my son, I know it’s unisex just not a name I like or really consider, you do you.

While it is a unisex name, most people know it as a girl's name. And kids are raised as assholes these days, and he's, unfortunately, likely to get bullied in school for having a "girl name". 
This is the unfortunate future we face for our kids.

I went to high school with a boy named Stacy. He was picked on soooo much because of his name.

My brother would name his hypothetical son Stacy. Like Stacy Peralta. I like it. Better as a boy name to me. Also, I went to HS with a skater boy name Courtney. Court. The ladies loved him 🤙🏼😊

Not in today’s age. It was more unisex in previous generations. I think he would be picked on growing up in the 2020s.

As a Stacy I have met about half and half male to female...granted not many in my age range in general. Most Staceys (or ay other spelling have been like 15+ yrs older than me for the most part)   A bit sad to hear so many people don't like the name Stacy. I am quite fond of it haha. Boy or girl I think it is a fine name
