When i decided to ask my girlfriend out, i was too in the moment and we started dating on her dad’s birthday, it was poetry night and i had “ finished” a poem i had made a few months before and preformed.

(i’ll post it at the end) Now it’s a year later i wasn’t sure what to do to celebrate with her our first year together, but i didn’t want to take her away to her father’s birthday. I ended up planning and paying a really good friend ( An amazing cook well call him Sean). Sean is an amazing cook and i knew i could trust him with my new family. i call them my new family because my mother is very unstable and basically abandoned me in the state i’m currently living in and moved 4 states away ( not being specific for privacy reasons). But the lovely family they are are trying to get power of attorney and support me more than my mother ever has and due to this pandemic i wanted to do something nice in the safety of our own home. thank y’all and i would recommend this if you’re struggling to find anything to do this year.
