If you saw the name Mila how would you pronounce it?

If we have a girl we really love the name Mila (pronounced Mee-la) but I was just wondering if people would pronounce it correctly!

It’s super super popular among babies right now, so I’m guessing it’ll get mispronounced by some adults in her first few years of life, but before long everyone will know multiple Milas and the pronunciation will be as easy and normal as any other common name.
Basically it’d be a temporary and occasional inconvenience for YOU, but by the time she’s old enough to notice/care, it would almost never be a problem for her.

I have always pronounced this name as my-la in my head. I know that like with Mila Kunis it’s pronounced mee-la, but my brain just refuses to pronounce it like that. Lol

Yes! I’m naming my daughter Miana pronouncing it ( ME-ah-na) some might get it wrong but that will happen with any name. My name is Chelsea and it’s prounouced wrong quite a bit for being pretty common.
