Boob pain for 3 weeks

I have had really bad soreness around my nipples I get sharp pain when I touch or poke my boob it gets worse I’m not pregnant so I know it’s not that I just don’t get why it’s been hurting for so long already I have never had it hurt this bad before or last this long
