What is the likely hood of me getting pregnant??

Hi so i’m 16 and my boyfriend and I just had unprotected sex. I just recently lost my virginity to him less than a week ago. We also had unprotected sex at the time. (Yes i know i am extremely dumb) I took a Plan B last time and i’m doing it again today. Will taking another Plan B in the same week still be effective?? i’m really worried because my parents don’t know i’m having sex and i’m trying to get on birth control.

Plan B isn’t meant to be taken all the time.  It can really mess up your body.  Plan B doesn’t always work, depending on where you are in your cycle, so there’s still a chance of pregnancy.  Ask your mom to go on birth control and use condoms to protect yourself.  Unless your boyfriend was also a virgin, you open yourself up to getting stds.  Some stds are cured with antibiotics, while others you have for life because there is no cure.  Take action to protect your health.

I’m not trying to be rude, but if you can afford to keep buying plan b you can afford to buy condoms. Don’t believe anything he might say to get out of using protection. If he doesn’t respect you enough to wear protection then I wouldn’t be sleeping with him. It’s not just pregnancy you should prevent, you have to protect yourself against an STD as well.

don’t have unprotected sex. plan b is not candy. it will REALLY mess up your body and your cycle for up to 6 months. maybe later if you take multiple. get a condom at least, they’re free at most doctors and planned pregnancy clinics. the manufacturers of the pill don’t recommend taking two in one week
