34 weeks and in L&D by myself

Well my parents who are supposed to watch my toddler when I went into labor are in Arizona (I’m in CA) visiting my nieces and nephews so I’m here in triage for three hours so far alone because my husband is at home.

I had what I thought was my water break last night. Two large gushes, no smell and clear. Laid down for an hour, then had no more fluid so thought maybe I just peed myself.

Woke up, no abnormal fluid really. When walking, I had a little trickle here and there this morning and decided to be safe to get checked.

Well one test came positive and one test negative, they sent someone up to do an ultrasound and fluid is low so doc will be coming down in an hour to re-run fluid tests.

Ughhhh.

Haven’t told my parents to drive back yet, not sure what all this means, and this is the longest hour ever.
