I broke up with my ex on the 14th of this month. We have already exchanged stuff, but this weekend he texted me.

“I left my xbox game and hat at your place”

I tried to find it, but couldn’t so I asked

“Do you know where you put it last?”

then he said

“Just forget it”

What does this mean? What should I text back? I didn’t want to break up with him, but he showed me in multiple ways he wouldn’t change. Is there anyway he just wanted to see me but didn’t want to say anything?
