Do you think some people get addicted to having babies?

Just because someone has a lot of kids doesn't mean they're addicted to having children. But i do personally know someone that just likes having babies and loses interest in them once they hit 2. Then starts trying to have a new baby again and just repeat

I wouldn't say someone COULDN'T be addicted to the feeling of being pregnant or having children, but I don't think that's remotely conmon among people who have 5+ children. Some people just love big families.

My mom had 10 kids and homeschooled every single one of us until graduation. She loves kids. She plans on fostering/adopting after some of my siblings move out.

I wanted a big family and I can take of mines. Not an addiction to having kids cause that to me implies that eventually you stop caring for them at a certain point.
I’m on baby number 5 if all goes well. I got one more in me before I shut down. But I am considering fostering and maybe adopting just to give another kid a better live if I can.
Trust me kids take a lot from you especially when there’s a few running around.

I know several women with more than 5, and no they’re not addicted to having babies, they love their children a whole lot more than most with only a couple. I don’t think it’s fair to say because they have a lot they’re addicted.

To each their own. All my coworker have 6-12 kids and they are all loving supportive families. But growing up I knew plenty of welfare mammas who had 8 kids with different dads and could care less about their quality of life.

I’m sure there are people out there who are addicted to having babies, but I think it’s foolish to assume everyone with 5+ children is addicted to having babies. My mom has 5 and I wouldn’t consider her addicted, especially since 3 of us were total accidents.

My mom has fostered several kids whi mom had 6 plus kids with no knowledge of who the fathers are.
