TTC after IUD

I had an IUD in for about 4 years.. I just took it out about over a month ago to TTC and I’m currently in my 2 week wait.. I have another week to go til my period and I was just wondering (because I never really got my period with the IUD..) when is it safe to take a pregnancy test if my period doesn’t come due to irregular cycles?
