Hey ladies,

So I have a bit of an issue and I am hoping to get some opinions please.

So I have been with my fiancée for a year and love him dearly. He treats me and my son (previous relationship) like royalty!

But he suffers from social anxiety and can come across closed off and at times rude.

He makes me incredibly happy and has never treated me wrong.

My mother has previously been in multiple abusive relationships, both physically, emotionally, financially and mentally.

So a couple of weekends ago at a family get to together, my mum and fiancée got in a heated conversation. They had different opinions and it got a bit heated. No yelling or anything, just both trying to get their points of view across.

My fiancée apologised to my mum after we left.

Anyways, now my mother is concerned that I’m in an abusive relationship 😫

My fiancée has never raised his voice to me or my son. He hasn’t stopped me from seeing friends or family.

Now it’s really awkward. I don’t know if I should hold off TTC until things settle or not.

My fertility days are numbered as I only have one ovary.

I don’t know what to do!!
