Those who do social work
I started college in Jan of this year. Originally it was for nursing but that changed fast. I have worked in health care for yrs but I am a hands on learner especially in that field. So I soon switched to business. I completed that semester with a 3.8 GPA. I was very proud of myself. I started summer and they switched all classes to online. I was getting no assistance and falling behind so dropped. I had horrible experience with the college since before applying and decides I just didn't want to go back.
Over the last few weeks I've been thinking about how I was a foster parent and was truly advocating for my foster kids. I really enjoyed it. I've decided to try a new college and go for social work and it is exactly what I want to do in my life.
For those in this field, how were classes for you? How is your current job? I know here they are overwhelmed with cases.
