When can baby wear just pajamas to bed?

Question

This is probably a dumb question but how long do babies usually wear sleep sacks, wearable blankets or the zipadee zip? Like when do you stop using sleep aids and just put them to bed in their pajamas?

I’m giving my daughter the sleep sack up until she’s big enough for a blanket. I would never sleep without a blanket, I don’t know why I would expect her to.

We tried footie jammies for the heck of it last week and my girl prefers them way more than her swaddle or sleep sack. She sleeps so much better!
It’s perfectly safe as long as the jammies are temperature appropriate 😊

Our son never really loved the sleep sacks so he’s always just been in pajamas. We put him in long footie pajamas or long sleeves and pants with socks all year round since we live in the hot south and keep our house cold. We put a blanket in his crib for him but he couldn’t care less about it, he immediately takes it off and pushes it to the side lol. I think it just depends on your baby honestly.

My kids hated a swaddle so they were in jammies from like a week old

My daughter never used them. She was always super hot so she just slept in a diaper unless it was cold. And then at a year we started sharing a light blanket but only from the waist down and tucked enough that it wouldn’t move around. (We bedshared) now at 2 she still sleeps naked but with blanket lol. I always found the sleeping sack plus Pajamas made my babies over heat. But my babies both get hot super super easily. My newborn right now has to sleep naked with the fan on or else he sweats so much and gets hot and fussy

We never used a sleep sack. Once he was out of swaddles we didn’t use anything else. May have come in handy around 4/5 months but he sleeps pretty good. He’s 19 months now and sleeps with a blanket.

I think it just depends on the temperature of your house. We always keep ours pretty warm & my LO didn’t like swaddling so pretty early (like 1 or 2 months?) he was just in pjs that were appropriate for the temperature
