What to feed baby for dinner post throwing up

My boy ate well for breakfast and lunch but threw up a lot all his food after lunch. I picked him up from daycare and breastfeed him. He is currently sleeping. I’m wondering what I should feed him for dinner to avoid upsetting his stomach again. Should I not feed him at all? Thanks ladies

Poor pumpkin. I would skip food for dinner unless it was simple, applesauce or crackers.

Of it was a one time throw up and he’s acting fine, I’d probably do dinner as usual. If he’s sick and has an upset stomach id offer him something easy on the tummy like toast or some soup.

Do you know what made his stomach upset? I know my daughter when she was really little, peas, carrots and anything acidic would make her vomit too. I would avoid those foods if you can. Something easy like pumpkin, or maybe butternut squash

My daughter had diarrhea recently and so we gave her a bland diet of applesauce, bananas, chicken, and rice.
