Went in for my vaginal US at 6 weeks and there was an empty sac with no yolk or fetal pole. The tech said that the gestational sac was too small to be measured by the machine to calculate how far along I am. She said it calculates starting at 5.5 weeks. I find this a little strange since you clearly see the measurements at the bottom of the screen. GS is 1.47 cm which typically is 5-6 weeks. Anyways they took my blood at my levels are at 51,000. They scheduled me to come back at 7 weeks to see if anything has progressed. I do see a little something in the sac in the upper right hand corner of one of the pics. I’m hoping it’s not a blighted ovum. Anybody else in the same boat?o
