BV while pregnant- Azithromycin?

Did anyone get BV while pregnant and get prescribed two 500mg pills of Azithromycin?
I’m 6 weeks pregnant.

Yes i was prescribed pills for it it didn’t go away so I was prescribed the inserts for 3 days....

Did you take it?? Was baby okay? I took 2 doses of azithromycin at 5/6 weeks pregnant. Now 18 weeks and I'm kind of freaking out after googling lol.

The benefits outweigh the risk. Bv is no joke when pregnant! Definitely treat it, i had it while pregnant and had no clue i starter noticing signs and my doctors never tested me or got me on medication it ended up infecting my water snd causing sepsis in baby so unfortunately i went into labor because of it and lost the baby at 16 weeks. Bv can come and go the whole time especially if left untreated. Just take the medication and follow up woth your doctor to make sure its gone
