Definitely looks like mosquito bites! It’s alarming but very normal for most tiny kids to have reactions like this.

I'd say bites. Like hannah said we dont vaccinate against chicken pox, its just a normal child virus most kids get here but when my eldest had it they have like little blisters in the middle and normally start on their 'trunk'

Bites. We don’t have a chicken pox vaccine here our kids just get chicken pox at some point. Both my boys have had it and the spots have blisters on them and they have a fever before the spots come out x

Chicken poxs almost always come after a fever so was your LO was running a fever before they popped up I wouldn't worry! But hopefully some good lotion will help the itch

I would say mosquito too! My son got his varicella (chickenpox) vaccine at his 12 month appointment.
