Measuring 2 weeks behind?

Just had first ultrasound, lmp is 8 weeks but told 6 weeks.  No mention of a heartbeat & I forgot to ask as was shocked so far behind.  Has this happened to you?  I’m 41 & regular but ovulation can start going off at my age.  Trying not to assume it’s a missed miscarriage 🙏🍀

No that isn’t a sign of a miscarriage. It can be normal, at 6 weeks it’s hard to see the heartbeat.. Hopefully in two weeks you see a healthy baby with a heartbeat 😊

Me I was supposed to be 7 weeks according to the first day of my period but I was keeping track of my ovulation so I knew I was gonna be like 4/5 weeks and when they did my first ultrasound I was measuring 4/5weeks I’m getting a phone call from my doctor on Wednesday and I have another scheduled ultrasound sept 10 I think it’s normal because ovulation doesn’t occur right after your period it takes time so don’t stress until your doctor tells you otherwise but I’ll pray for both of us and hope our babies are healthy and strong

Positive vibes, is hard to stay calmed and not to think the worst... try to do something that makes you feel good and forget about stress .. the more occupied you are the better.

Are they having you come back from bloodwork to check if your hcg is rising? With my mc I was measuring a week behind but knew that couldn't possibly be right. My hcg was rising but not doubling. They didn't say anything at the first appointment other than I was measuring at 5w3d and to come back in a week. I knew from that point on even though they never said a word about a mc.

I really don’t want to scare you, but it might be better to prepare for the worst. I’ve had 3 missed miscarriages and that’s what happens, the baby stops growing  😢 .
Can you get bloodwork done to see if your hCG is going up? Maybe ask for an ultrasound in 1 week instead of two so you don’t have to wait so long.
Are you sure when you ovulated?

Maybe it's a late pregnancy 
In my first daughter I heard her heartbeat 
At 6w3d 
But my son 
I know we had sex in my 16 days from my first period day so it considered late pregnancy 
I heard the heartbeat 10w exactly 
2 doctors said to my drink some 🌿 herbs 
To miscarriage without medical help 
But i keept testing my blood every two days and waited
Until it shows

Did they ask you to come back in a couple of weeks? If baby was at 6 weeks I think it’s harder to find a heartbeat
