Light bleeding 33 weeks pregnant??

Hey ladies! So I got out of the shower and instantly had to pee, but when I wiped I was bleeding, bright red, I started to panic!! It literally lasted 5-10 minutes and baby is still moving like crazy, but the bleeding is now gone! Has anyone had this happen? Should I call the l&d department?

Happened to me yesterday.  I’m 32 weeks.  Because I’ve had issues with my placenta in past pregnancies they did a cervical exam with a speculum (visual only) and it was closed.  The doctor said that if it were anyone else, any normal pregnancy with someone who didn’t have issues in the past they would have just sent me home without checking. But, if it persisted for a couple days OR it got heavier to come back in.  It has not happened again today and they didn’t seem to concerned. But that was just my experience.

I went in to L&D at 27w for bleeding and they told me to come back anytime for any kind of bleeding. They will just put you on the monitor for a little while and do a cervical check.

It’s actually completely normal probably a vessel burst it’s happened to me in both my pregnancies it freaked me out and they told me with all the extra blood and pressure vessels snap and can cause quick bleeding

It happened to me 2 of my pregnancies around 30 weeks. No explanation  (intercourse can cause it, but that was not my case in several days). I did go to the hospital because mine lasted like an hour,  but they found nothing wrong either time. It's good to call your dr anyway, but it did happen to me, no one knows why.
